Dr. Janis Ruoff was a speech-language pathologist for over twenty years before her teenage son Jeff’s traumatic brain injury (TBI), and she states that life after her son’s car accident taught her how much she did not know until she was living with TBI on a daily basis. Following Jeff’s brain injury, she went on to be a research faculty member at the George Washington University in Washington D.C. and the founder and Director of GW’s Center for Education and Human Services in Acquired Brain Injury. In 2011 she retired from academia and currently is a consultant, author, and presenter.
She lives in Windsor, Colorado with her family. This is her first book. Watch for news about her next book on this website!Contact Janis
